I want to introduce myself as the new principal of Rock Creek Elementary School. My name is Kimberley Morris, and I have been a part of the Auburn Union School district for over 20 years. Eighteen years of my educational experience have been at the elementary level. I have taught all grades K-8 and hold a Masters’s in Multicultural Education.
I grew up in Auburn and attended Rock Creek as a child. I am excited to be back at Rock Creek as the instructional leader for a diverse and flourishing school. Rock Creek has excellent teachers that are caring and provide equity-centered instruction for their students.
I am holding a “Meet and Greet” to get to know the families of Rock Creek on Wednesday, August 4th, from 4:00-6:00 pm. Then, on Tuesday, August 10th, from 2-3 pm, I will be hosting Popsicles with the Principal. I’m looking forward to meeting our returning as well as new Rock Creek families.
Principal, Rock Creek
