Another year is upon us here at Rock Creek! We are so grateful to be surrounded by our wonderful Rock Creek students, families, and community members.
We are home to an exceptional staff and coordinated academic, behavioral, and social-emotional programs. Rock Creek is a place where we focus on the whole child, and a place where we strive to support our students any way possible.
We strive to improve each and every day to support each child in their education, and we are proud of so many wonderful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports in place here at Rock Creek. To name a few:
Daily, small group instruction in math, language arts, and language development
"Caught Ya" system for recognizing excellent character and behavior
Close monitoring of attendance and working with families to resolve attendance challenges
Implementation of strategies learned in the Results Training delivered by California Reading and Literature Project
Strong, long-lasting community partnerships
Enrichment activities such as Art Docent (thank you to our community docents!), Destination Imagination, our incredible garden "Life Lab" that wouldn't be possible without our incredible crew of community volunteers and the coordination, work, and support from the UC CalFresh team
Last but not least, an incredible group of staff and students
As always, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
We look forward to seeing you for our first day of school, Wednesday, August 15th!
